The Eternal Return of ELDERNET

1. End of Hiatus

   Midway through last month, I temporarily paused new pages of ELDERNET while I worked on finishing a new PSINKTOBER page every day. PSINKTOBER is now complete, and I have resumed work on ELDERNET. You can look at the newest page, posted today, here.

2. Process

   I briefly considered continuing “King-vision” through the rest of Robert’s chapter, before deciding that, as someone who has passed the threshold from one paradigm to another, his perspective is too far removed from ours. Not exactly a cop-out; more like I started working on a “King-vision” version (as you can see in the pencil rough for panel one below) before realizing trying to translate everything in The Eldernet would not make sense, especially since the continuity of the “original” Eldernet is one of the only throughlines in the chapter.
