The mangaka of loneliness
Done in response to the NASH Illustrators August prompt: “Favorite Artist,” not that he’s the favorite, but certainly a huge influence on my art, writing, and frankly much of my personal philosophy.

I looked him up --fascinating life story and work. I think the overall design and detail of this piece are fantastic. Something about it is very unified on every level, but of course as a layperson I can't articulate it. Will you send it to Ito? I think he would love to see it!
FYI: "There is no public-facing contact information for horror artist Junji Ito. You cannot directly email, call, or message him. The most reliable ways to make contact for professional or business inquiries are through his publisher, VIZ Media, or by following his official social media.
For professional inquiries
For business, press, or official purposes, your best option is to contact his U.S. publisher.
VIZ Media (Publisher): You can submit an inquiry through the contact form on VIZ Media's company website.
For fans
For fan mail, social media is the most direct method to send a message that may be seen.
Official X (Twitter) Account: Message the official account, which is primarily in Japanese but is often reposted and is a reliable source for his updates.
Fan Mail Address (Not Recommended): Though a fan mail address for his publisher exists, its effectiveness is uncertain. Publishers typically do not forward fan mail to authors.
Why direct contact is not possible
Like many prominent manga artists, Junji Ito maintains a private personal life and does not share direct contact information with the public. This is standard practice to manage the high volume of fan messages and ensure his privacy."
